Figurative sculpture is art with recognizable figures either human, animal or object.

As I work, my primary concern is to get to the question that I have in mind.  To this end, I am willing to do whatever is necessary such as breaking aesthetic rules by combining elements of any style or period in an effort to attain deeper meaning. As a result, the figurative forms that I make can have a clear, regular structure of the classical norm.  Or, they may contain powerful emotions, humor and distortions that might be considered romantic, expressive even post-modern in style.  Style definitions are not important.  What is important is to get to the bottom of the concerns of contemporary existence, how it feels to be alive today.
